Tackling Africa's
Greatest Challenges
The Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) is the private philanthropic vehicle of Alhaji Aliko Dangote, established in 1994 and formally restructured in 2014. It is Africa's largest private foundation by total assets committed, with a mandate spanning nutrition, health, education and livelihoods.
ADF operates across all 17 countries where Dangote Group has industrial presence, leveraging the Group's logistics and community networks to deliver programs at scale. The Foundation prioritises interventions that address structural poverty, food insecurity and health inequality in sub-Saharan Africa.
"I am keenly aware of the social responsibility that comes with the wealth I have accumulated. The Aliko Dangote Foundation represents my commitment to giving back and creating sustainable impact in Africa."
